Since 2012 Bitten has been certifying and training the next generation of SugarAddiction Counsellors. She has been a recovering alcoholic for 35 years, and a recovering sugar/flour/processed food addict for 27 years. She has worked with thousands of clients, mostly groups, for 25 years. Bitten has trained professionals in Holistic Addiction Medicine and SUGAR evaluation certification since 2012, in a one-year training program. She has been featured on numerous videos and pods on platforms such as Quit Sugar Summit, Kick Sugar Summit, and more. Bitten has also written 5 books, and has been featured on TV and media in Sweden many times for 20 years. She started and ran eleven-bed treatment facility in Sweden from 2000-2005. She developed policy programs in addiction several times, and developed detox and biochemical repair programs for addicts. She also developed relapse prevention, assessment, and how to deal with cue induced cravings based on neuroscience.
